Slabjacking or Slab JackingSlabjacking is a procedure used to raise sunken concrete. After drilling holes through the slab, a mixture of mason sand portland cement Bentonite and water is injected under controlled hydraulic pressure to fill all voids and hollows. Once the voids are filled, the injection mixture raises the slab to the desired height. The holes are then cleaned and filled with cement. The patched holes will be a different color at first, but given time they will blend with the existing concrete. There are four main advantages to this system: (1) By carefully controlling the proportions, we can raise the slab to the proper height, (2) Low Cost- Most concrete slabs can be raised for half of the price of the replacement cost, (3) Quick- Most jobs can be completed in the same day and there will be no adverse effects to landscaping and adjacent areas, and (4) What?
